Ozark Residents Directory is a private reference to public rolls, record indexes, and historical collections associated with Ozark, Christian County, Missouri, and the State of Missouri. It neither hosts government records nor represents an office, court, or records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use the service only for lawful purposes. You must not use it, or information found through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Find someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make an FCRA-regulated decision involving credit, employment, housing, or insurance
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. No Consumer Reporting Service
Ozark Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. ยง 1681 et seq. Nothing on this service, including results from a linked tool, is a consumer report. It may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. External Resources
Christian County and Missouri portals, along with third-party services and sponsored search tools, use their own policies and terms. We do not control their content, availability, price, or data practices.
5. No Warranties
This service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, currency, portal availability, or the correctness of a linked result.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this service or a linked resource, including decisions based on records found through them.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the service operators from claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a short attributed excerpt is permitted; republishing full pages or systematically copying material is not.
9. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after that posting constitutes acceptance.
10. Access Restrictions
We may restrict or block access, without notice and in our discretion, for a violation of these terms or abuse of the service.
11. Governing Law
Missouri law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Missouri public-record access is addressed by the Missouri Sunshine Law, RSMo Chapter 610, including RSMo 610.023 on access and response and RSMo 610.026 on copy and research fees. Those provisions do not override separate confidentiality rules.
12. Severability
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
